Since hearings began on 10th September 2024, the Inquiry has heard evidence from 107 witnesses in relation to Parts A and B of the Terms of Reference and from 3 experts in relation to Part C. A further 9 witnesses will be heard on 5th, 6th,10th and 12th December. The balance of the oral evidence will be heard between 7th and 17th January.
Closing submissions are scheduled for hearing on 17th and 18th March 2025 at Liverpool Town Hall, after which Lady Justice Thirlwall will prepare her report, which is expected in the Autumn of 2025.
Public registration for the final two weeks of evidence will close on 18th December 2024.
